meeting security and scheduling
resolving the most common audio and video issues
best practices for breakout rooms, polls, and whiteboards
backend settings for crafting useful parameters for participant behavior
lighting and physical environment recommended hardware and software for professional hosts
Sessions 3 & 4 cover the meeting facilitation aspects of Zoom:
establishing norms, meeting length, breakout room size and length
establishing positive intrinsic motivation for participant engagement
differentiated instruction and multiple learning styles
the unique social dynamics of online events and how to add depth to online interactions
managing conflict in an online environment
Students will also share recorded samples of their event facilitation work for group analysis and feedback.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and digital badge to add to their LinkedIn profile.
